Leap Day

    Leap Day – that one day that comes only once every four years. As SBB reminds us, it is a gift, a day we must seize, carpe diem and all that. The old Irish tradition says a woman can propose to a man on that day & that he must accept. (The premise behind the very funny Leap Year  movie with Amy Adams) Great story you could tell your kids someday. But I say keep it simple. It may be a workday Wednesday, but we can still plan something special for that certain someone in our lives. Nothing as dramatic as a marriage proposal, but maybe something memorable just the same. Perhaps this leap day we propose something to ourselves. Will you (fill in the blank)? Will you... be happy... be joyful... be grateful for the rest of your life? Or maybe we just take some of this bonus time for ourselves. Read a great book, go for a mani/pedi, take a relaxing bath with a delish glass of wine. However you choose, enjoy your extra day!
